Twist N’ Curl ft. Shea Moisture

Hey Queens! 👋🏽

I know you guys are used to me doing the Twist n’ Curl method (here and here) where I twist the hair then roll 3-5 twists onto a perm rod but this time I did the other method. I realize that the initial method I usually use takes a longer time to dry.

In addition to that, I used the wonderful Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie and Curling Gel Soufflè to achieve this style.

I did this style on stretched hair, that was washed a week ago with the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner, then used the Lottabody Curl & Style Milk as my leave-in and Coconut Oil as my oil.

I first twist my hair and leave about a inch to two inch at the ends to roll onto a perm rods.

The take down process – I then removed the perm rods.

I then untwist the twists.

I did not love the definition the curling gel soufflè gave me. This is not the definition i’m used to when I use my eco styler gel. The initial curls were beautiful, don’t get me wrong. My curls were very soft so the curls dropped by the end of the day. I could not wear this style for more than 2 days.

Until next time,

Peace & Love.
