Product Review | ariLabs ariClearSkin Acne Treatment System

Hey Queens and Kings! 👋🏽👋🏽

How are y’all doing? I want to firstly thank you for the continuous support. I’m just in my eighth month of blogging but it already feels like a year because of the way time is moving so fast. Thank you again and look out for more interesting posts.

I remember mentioning that I was taking store bought acne products out of my skin regimen but guess what? 😱 My best friend’s persuasion on how good this product was being that her aunt, a pharmacist recommended it to her when she was going through some terrible breakouts on her face, as well as, my intentions of supporting my country, Jamaica bid me to buy this product.

Tomato

 Hey Queens! 👋🏽

Tomato is one of the fruit I use from my refrigerator for my weekly face routine. Therefore, I will be giving you a brief insight on this fruit and it’s benefits.

A member of the nightshade family (along with aubergines, peppers and chillies), tomatoes are in fact a fruit, but their affinity for other savoury ingredients means that they are usually classed as a vegetable.

Canola

Hey Queens! 👋🏽

How are you doing today? I’ve been researching about oils to help in hair growth and I came across canola oil, therefore I began to research about it. Canola is not endorsed in the natural hair community and from my research this seems to be a great oil for your hair.

Canola seeds are used to produce canola oil since 43% of it is oil. Canola is modified type of rapeseed. It belongs to the mustard family (canola is closely related to Brussels sprout, broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage). Cultivation of rapeseed started four thousand years ago. Medical studies in 20th century showed that rapeseed contains erucic acid (chemical substance) that may induce harmful effects in humans when consumed in large quantities. Soon after, scientists created genetically improved, healthier version of rapeseed, named canola. Newly created plant contains minimal amount of erucic acid, it is resistant to herbicides and it can be consumed safely. Thanks to all these features, canola is one of the most important agricultural crops today. [SOURCE]

Aloe Vera

Hey Queens! 👋 probably some Kings will read this as well so HEY! 👋 🙂

I’ve known this plant since I was a child – it’s growing in my backyard. I’ve seen my dad used it to wash his hair, as well as used it to make juice. This plant is beneficial to humanity in so many ways. It’s great for topical use, internal use and so much more.

The Honey Cleansing Method

Hey Queens! 👋

So I have been loving the use of honey on face in my deep treatment for my face weekly. Click here to see my new skin regimen. Therefore, I went ahead to research if I was able to use it to cleanse my face. Low and below I came upon the honey cleansing method. You know I was super excited. As mentioned in my initial post, I am opting for more natural products for my face.

I use honey in many of my DIYs for my natural hair …. so why am I not using it on my face as well. First of all, you may wonder why in the world would anyone use honey to wash their face. Let’s get into why this is now a preferred method of cleansing the face rather than a store bought cleanser.

Molasses

I have had molasses around my home for awhile – so long it didn’t expire. One day I needed to deep condition my hair and my mom suggested the use of molasses. It was great to my hair so I continued to do so when I was out of a deep conditioner. Check out my DIY deep conditioner here with this superfood here.

Did you know that Molasses was a sugar? The most nutrient-densed sugar? It is made when sugar cane syrup is boiled for the third time creating what you would call “blackstrap molasses.” This is very unrefined and is the best choice if you want to reap the benefits for your hair and skin.
